Disposition:
☛ Loyal - If there's one thing that stands out most about Dick Gumshoe, it's that once you earn his loyalty he never wavers on it. The easiest example comes with Gumshoe's dedication to Miles Edgeworth, who Gumshoe respects more than anyone else he's met and has even been willing to risk his job for in order to help him -- more than once, even. In addition, when Maya Fey was kidnapped and missing, Gumshoe worked tirelessly in an attempt to find her, even at the risk of his own life and certainly at the risk of losing his job for good.
☛ Sensitive - Somehow, even after working on murder cases, Gumshoe is the kind of person whose feelings can be hurt pretty easily by others, and takes it to the point where he can be seen sulking or pouting about it. Fortunately, he doesn't dwell too long, and Gumshoe does bounce back pretty quickly even after his feelings get hurt.
☛ Impulsive - Unfortunately, Gumshoe has quite the habit of blurting out the first thing on his mind without thinking. On one hand, at least you can almost always count on him to be honest with you, but on the other hand he does sometimes fumble with what he's saying and might put his foot into his mouth. Just another slice of his charm.
☛ Guileless - It's another way of kindly saying that a lot of Gumshoe's mannerisms have a certain childlike innocence to them, for better or for worse. The worst that he's done is very briefly lie about the fact that he'd been playing the lottery, but even then he caves quickly to telling the truth. It's interesting that while Gumshoe seems to be a bit of a bumbling, sweet oaf, he's also not completely naive to the ways of the world either; he's just a well meaning kind of man.

Under pressure: PUSHING DOWN ON ME
As a detective, Gumshoe has dealt with a wide variety of different cases, especially ones where some incredibly ridiculously murders have been executed, making it difficult for the average person to even unravel at first. That being said, Gumshoe is familiar in working with grim situations that include dead bodies almost too frequently, so such serious matters are treated as part of the job and never callously. Basically, Gumshoe can work decently in those kinds of situations without losing his cool, but he does become extremely passionate when someone he cares about is in immediate danger, such as when someone he deeply respects has been accused of murder, or someone he knows is missing. Either way, though, Gumshoe still works in his position, doing his best to uphold the law. He never seems to get too particularly stressed, even when he can be loud and boisterous about it.

Condition upon arrival: Healthy, if only lacking in a sufficient nutrients from a decent diet.

Abilities:
☛ Police work - Gumshoe has the basic skills of detective work under his belt. Although he doesn't appear to be exceptionally clever in the realms of Sherlock Holmes, nobody can really anticipate the truth behind the crimes that seem to happen where he's from. In any case, he has the basic work under his belt, knows the basics of investigation, and of course the LAW, baby.
☛ Brute strength - Like any good tall meat of man, Gumshoe has decent strength and exceptional stamina, especially when he's properly motivated.
☛ Inventive - Despite all appearances, Gumshoe is actually quite clever! He's managed to make his own electromagnetic reading device when he was in high school out of nearly nothing, and often jury-rigs his own equipment. Likely because he can't afford much, but the heart is still there!
